With the abundance of wildlife in North Devon, coupled with the profusion of flora and fauna; staying at our holiday park is a must for those of you fascinated with nature, and who love to watch it at close quarters.
We have recorded sightings made by keen-eyed wildlife watchers who have spotted kingfishers by the lake, an Otter swimming up the stream, and noted where a path has been well trodden by the deer that visit us. Dragonflies and birds are bountiful, whilst buzzards are regularly sighted, circling leisurely overhead.
We would love you to send us your own photographs showing what you have seen, and we'll add them to our gallery.
As the name suggests, Hidden Valley Holiday Park is situated in a glorious wooded valley with beautiful, purposely created walks for you to enjoy. You are overawed by a feeling of total serenity; miles away from the busy bustle of everyday life, and yet, within just a few minutes you can be right in the hub of it all; enjoying all the activities, adventures and nature that Devon has to offer.
So come and join us in North Devon and see what you can discover.
This year we got a Beehive complete with ten-thousand Honey Bees! Bees are incredible important as they pollinate Food Crops. It is estimated that one third of the food that we consume each day relies on pollination mainly by bees, but also by other insects, birds and bats.
The great thing about Honey Bees is that they make more honey than they actually consume, which means us humans can have the rest! Next year we'll have our very own Hidden Valley Honey on sale, perfect for your morning toast!
