Pitches at Hidden Valley Campsite, Devon

Whether you’re under canvas, in a campervan, caravan or motorhome, our North Devon campsite has the perfect pitch to suit your needs. We offer two distinctive camping areas…

Otter’s Creek Caravan Pitch

Otter’s Creek has mostly hard standing caravan pitches and is gently terraced with a childrens' play area on the lower level. A modern utility block incorporates: showers, toilets and washbasins, with the added luxury of under-floor heating and a private bathroom.

Washing machines and driers are available in the Laundry Room, and there are facilities so you can rinse out your wetsuit after a day out at one of North Devon’s many beaches. A separate indoor dishwashing area is also located in the utility block.

There are 4 pitch types available: premier, large, medium and small. All caravan pitches are all-weather, hard standing and have a 16 amp electric hook-up.

The premier pitches are block-paved, with a pea shingle area for your awning, a grassed area and a large wooden picnic bench. Large pitches also have a grassed area, and are composed of hard shingle. Both are fully serviced and have connections for fresh and grey water. They are suitable for caravans, 40ft motorhomes and American 5th wheel trailers.

Small and medium pitches are hard-standing for single and twin-axle caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-up and shared water taps. Camping in Devon has never been so convenient!

Kingfisher Meadow Camp Site

Kingfisher Meadow is a beautiful, level grass meadow, with another playground located just inside the Devon forest canopy - it's a wonderful place to play. On a hot summer’s day, children love playing in the pretty stream which runs along the side of the meadow.

The Utility Block here also comprises: showers, washbasins and toilets, a family shower room, covered dishwashing area, wetsuit washing point, washing machines and driers. Just the sort of facilities you’d expect from a premium campsite such as ours. As with Otter’s Creek, Kingfisher Meadow also has 4 pitch types: premier, large, medium and small; all pitches have a 16 amp electric hook-up.

Premier pitches have wooden picnic benches and individual water taps. They are suitable for tents up to 11 x 7 metres in size. Large pitches are suitable for tents up to 10 x 5 metres and they also have individual water taps.Medium pitches are ideal for tents up to 5 x 8 metres and small pitches are great for tents up to 4.5 x 6 metres.

Conveniently located on the A361 between Braunton & Ilfracombe, the site does experience some road noise.
